Which One Is Superior Samsung S8000 Jet Or Sony Ericsson Satio

    -

Samsung S8000 Jet and Sony Ericsson Satio both are 3G capable touch screen phones, arguably both are the best combination of specifications and features. The first one is a complete pack of stunning features and the second one also is a wonderful camera device with array of cool features. Hence, the comparison between these would be more than useful to determine which one to opt for.

Let’s first discuss about camera:-

The first one carries 5 MP camera which can be used to capture still images and record videos. Advanced features like autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection and wide dynamic range help to the quality of the pictures. Comparatively Sony Ericsson Satio can be considered as the best camera phone existing in the market. The 12.1 megapixel camera delivers outstanding results with a host of related features including Dedicated Camera Key, Digital Zoom, Auto Focus, Xenon Flash, Geo Tagging, Face & Smile Detection.

Physical Presentation:-

Samsung S8000 Jet is a cool touchscreen phone weighing 110 grams and measures 108.8 x 53.5 x 11.9 mm. It has got AMOLED resistive touchscreen display measuring 3.1 inches with 480 x 800 Pixels resolution providing 16M colours. The performance of the device can be enhanced with Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and Motion UI, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off and TouchWiz v2.0 UI.Sony Ericsson Satio’s display screen is an impressive unit which is a 3.5 inches TFT touchscreen operating at 360 x 640 pixels resolution and has ability to display 16 Million colours. Comparatively it is heavier of 126 grams and its physical dimensions are 111 x 54 x 15 mm. It also has Accelerometer sensor.

Some of Other Similarities & Dissimilarities:-

So far as the storage space is concerned, Samsung’s device comes powered by 2GB, 8GB & 16GB internal memory and allows up to 16GB expansion. While Sony’s widget renders only 128 MB storage; 256 MB RAM which is really not sufficient however, users can increase up to 32GB and 8GB memory card is included.Connectivity features of these widgets are somewhat similar that include 3G HSDPA, (HSUPA in Satio) WLAN Wi-Fi, GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, Bluetooth and USB (microUSB in Jet).

Both of these phones sport GPS navigation feature with A-GPS support but Samsung’s phone encompasses it with 3D Navigation Map Application and Digital compass and Sony’s device assisted it by Google Maps. WAP 2.0 XHTML, HTML browser of Samsung S8000 Jet while WAP 2.0 HTML browser RSS Feeds are the Web browsing features. Sony Ericsson Satio allows viewing and editing documents but its contender is completely a failure in this regard.
