The Walt Disney World Resort not only offers the excitement inside the theme park but also provide outdoor fun in Downtown Disney. Downtown Disney is an outdoor entertainment, dinning, and shopping area of Walt Disney World Resort. Until the 1989 it was only a simple market place and was popular as Disney Village Marketplace. Later entertainment centers like Pleasure Island and west side were opened and with Marketplace the area was collectively renamed as Downtown Disney.
The entry in the marketplace and West Side are free but for an admission in Pleasure Island one need to purchase Pleasure Island Tickets. Pleasure Island is an entertainment complex which is famous for its nightlife and features seven wonderful nightclubs. These seven nightclubs are ‘the Comedy Warehouse’, ‘Adventure’s Club’, ‘BET Soundstage’, ‘8TRAX (features 70’s & 80’s music)’, ‘Motion’, ‘Techno’, and ‘Mannequins Dance Palace (feature revolving dance floor and trance music)’. Pleasure Island Tickets also provide best opportunities for shopping and dinning.
The shopping stores on Pleasure Island are open from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., the dining centers are open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., and entertainment venues open between 7: p.m. and 9:00 p.m. while nightclubs remain open until 2:00 a.m.. Some popular dining centers in Pleasure Island are Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant, Merriweather’s Market, and Pleasure Island Jazz Company. Downtown Disney offers some very exciting entertainment shows and Cirque Du Soleil-La Nouha is one of them. To enjoy this show guests need to purchase Cirque Du Soleil Ticket. Cirque Du Soleil-La Nouha is an entertainment show with circus like performance.
The show features gymnastic, acrobats, and other skilled performance with the combination of lighting and sound effects. The Cirque Du Soleil is performed in a specially made arena at West Side in Downtown Disney. To get admission in the show Cirque Du Soleil Tickets are must and these tickets can be purchased from the admission of the Show arena or from some authentic Disney websites. |
